On the Recycler, a Cleaver can be recycled into a Scrap Metal, Leather, and Common Plank in 10 minutes and 1 second at an appropriate level of Melee Weapons recycling skill.

Trivia[]
- Even if you crafted a new cleaver, it will have some rust on the blade.
- Beginners can find a free Half-Broken Cleaver inside the Old Pickup Truck on the south of their base.
- If do have the option to craft between a cleaver or crowbar, go with crowbar since it is more worthwhile to make a Crowbar at cost of crafting materials and it have a higher DPS than a Cleaver.
